Nani, the seamstress!! (◡‿◡✿)

I have become a seamstress!!

(well...not really. lol  (´ω`★)
BUT! I've finally gotten around to sewing and customizing a pair of shorts I have!
With the help of my wonderful mommy and lots of time and effort, I was able to turn an ordinary blue pair of shorts into a very fabulous and very cute gyaru inspired design!

This is how the shorts looked before:

And this is how they looked after!

I sewed on the pink lace trim, sewed the lace onto the pockets and added the chain, of which I also made myself!

I used my mother's old sewing machine, which is actually over 30 years old!
I will find a picture of it to show you guys soon...because it is extremely old compare to the newer ones, but it still works like new!

I used the sewing machine for the trim, and a combination of the machine and stitching by hand for the pockets.
And then of course I connected the pearl chain and silver chain together and added the little pink bows!

I'd say that the most difficult part was probably sewing the lace around the pockets >.< I messed up soooo many times and at one point I'd even sewn one of the leg openings closed with the machine and had to re-do the entire pocket!
EXTREMELY frustrating. The front pocket in particular isn't perfect (if you look closely you may see it's imperfections) but I suppose it'll do.

But even still, I'd say this was pretty good for it being my first time sewing something since I was a child!  Around 13 or 14 years old my mom taught me how to sew for the first time and we'd made pillows together, but I ended up forgetting everything entirely!

So she had to teach me everything all over again, which I am actually really thankful for! If it hadn't been for her help I don't think they would have turned out so nicely...I'm super duper grateful!

Also, in my last post I put up some models who are my current inspiration.
And noooow...I'm gonna put up some pictures of items that are on my wishlist! :D
I will be turning a lovely 22 years old in June, so I figure now's the time to do it! lol haha

The majority of these things I'll probably never be able to buy, but it's still fun to show them so that everyone has an idea of what looks I'm going for this summer.

I'm going for a sweet, girly gyaru look for this summer.
*(*´∀`*)☆ I've already found two dresses and a bag at three stores in my town...one is from rainbow and one is from this Korean store right down the street from my job! And the bag is from Discovery fashion ^_~

I was shocked that I could fit a Korean size small :O I thought I'd at least have to wear a medium, but that was actually too big..I was like 'wut'??! xD

I've also been practicing on a particular look I've been wanting to create with my make-up as well, I want to create rainbow eyes!

Of course mine probably won't turn out nearly as nice as these pictures lmao. But I see them all the time and now I'm ready to try it on myself. I just bought Urban Decay setting spray, Smashbox face primer, new foundation and new bottom lashes so I'm ready!! :DD

Oooh and for those of you who may have noticed how my music player is acting all weird...lol I don't know what's wrong with it, but I'll try to get it fixed ASAP! If anyone knows a better music player, please let me know...I'm getting annoyed with hypster now. :C

That's it for now! Be back soon   d=(´▽`)=b
