Weekend fun!~o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? (◕‿◕✿)  Hopefully everyone is staying warm and safe during this cold weather! :0

Yesterday there was a HUGE snowstorm in Milwaukee. We got almost 7 inches of snow! :O The roads were really bad for a long time and it took me almost two hours to get home. :(

Today the roads still aren't 100%, so I thought I'd stay in and blog about the events of the week and the fun weekend I had! (`・ω・´)”

I baked, went shopping, saw UFC fights and hung out with Brittany!

It felt good to do the things I love doing, especially since I rarely get days off from work now. :(

So I'll start of with last Friday's events! ♥

Foundation love/Para Para dilemma~

Hey guys, I just have to rave onward about my most favorite foundation in existence, Fast Finish Foundation stick by Fashion Fair.

I've mentioned this foundation many times, and I have yet to be persuaded to try anything else! I honestly think it's the best foundation in the world..it's just THAT good.

Fashion Fair is a make up line that originally debuted in 1973. It was made primarily for women of color and that is still the company's target demographic to this day, as the foundations come in 21 different shades!

Now for those who are familiar with Fashion Fair, you know it's a bit stigmatized...most of the younger generation will tend to avoid this line because they think it's only marketed towards older women But in my opinion, you can't go wrong! I was able to find my perfect skin tone match with this brand, which I haven't be able to do with any other brand. (including well known ones like Make Up For Ever and Smashbox)

I use the Fast Finish Foundation stick in "Pure Brown", which has a bit of a creamy texture, but it also comes in Souffle, Powder, liquid, and press cream from which offer different textures.

I usually buy it from the Fashion Fair website or at a department store like Macy's or Boston Store for about $28-$35, but I've also seen it on Ebay for as low as $11!

It always leaves a smooth and matte finish and doesn't smear. It lasts pretty much all day, though my only issue is that it can transfer a lot depending on how much you put on.

If you still aren't convinced, the pictures will tell all!

Worked out perfectly for when I did my rainbow eyes!
(used e.l.f ultimate eye shadow palette for colors)

^lmao xD

While I'm at it.....I may as well also mention that it provided an excellent look when I celebrated my older sister's birthday earlier in May as well!

^My mom on the left and sister on the right..I picked out my sister's entire outfit and she loved it!

My meal at P.F. Chang's restaurant..yummy ginger chicken! It was soo delish~~

Decided to be daring and wear some cute stockings since it was a little chilly out..I don't know why my knees look so dimply o.O)

So to whomever may be reading this....I STRONGLY encourage you to give this foundation a try, ESPECIALLY if you're someone of color! Trust me, you won't regret it! I've been using it for as long as I've been wearing make-up and I have yet to be let down.

I also wanted to share my photos from this past weekend. Panda had the weekend off so we took it upon ourselves to travel to the Milwaukee lakefront!
(This photo was taken by Panda...he's an awesome photographer!)
Hat: Ebay
Top: Target
Shorts: Target
Shoes: Yumetenbo
Bag: Discovery clothing
^I wore long dolly eyelashes that day!

Milwaukee Lakefront!

^^LOL...we'll forever be derp-tastic together. =p

I had the most amazing time with him...this month on the 3rd we will have been together for a year and a half, which is pretty frickin' awesome if you ask me.

We also recorded a para para video of me as well..panda was behind the camera, and I REAAAALLLLY want to post it but there's ONE small issue....

....it's not really that good. :C
*starts bawling*

Okay, I guess it's not "wtf are you doing, never do para para again" type of bad. I've got the moves down. It's just...I noticed soooo many mistakes since I haven't practiced in forever. AND it was my first time really being recorded as I was dancing, which kinda made me super nervous. >.<

The thing is I still kinda wanna put it up and just label it as "practice" or "rehersal" and maybe disable comments....but at the same time I'm DEATHY nervous because people on youtube are horribly cruel sometimes, and also I don't want to offend those who are excellent Para Para dancers. <=/ *sigh* urrrgggghh dilemma, what should I do?? Oh woooee is meeehh ='< Fellow blogger members and friends...please loan me your kind advice? :3

I am planning on doing another vid soon, with a routine that I know a little better lol...hopefully this one turns out a lot better but I still have no clue if I should upload the current vid or not...any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Well that is all my friends! My  birthday is in just a few more weeks (June 19th) and I already have loads of stuffed planned! I'll fill you guys in as soon as its done with...until then, see ya!

Sewing, Baking, Deco!!♥

Yes, as the title says! I've been wanting to create so much lately!!! :3

My biggest urge that I've had is to start baking things again! The last real thing that I baked was some cupcakes and a cake on valentine's day for my panda-man:

These turned out nicely, but now after looking at so many cute kitchen gadgets
and all the delicious things you can make with them, I'm ready to try something more challenging!

One of the first things I want to bake are mini Hello Kitty kasutera cakes!(emote)
For this, I will be buying this silicone baking pan:

Kasutera is basically a Japanese spongecake, which is lighter and less sweet than american ones.
I am going to fill the insides with vanilla cream and fresh strawberries!

It'll take a lot of work, but I'm pretty positive that it'll turn out the way I am envisioning it!
I was inspired to create it after visiting this post at i-heart-baking!'s blog:

Her tiramisu cake turned out wonderfully! ^_^

Next on my list will be trying to make macarons, Japanese style parfaits and a two-tier strawberry cake shaped like a heart. There will be lots of strawberry flavored things because I absolutely adore anything strawberry!!

I also am dying to get this pan as well:

Wilton Heart Tasty Fill Cake Set

Never seen anything so ridiculously cute AND edible before!!!! Right up my freakin' alley.

Also I've been creating more deco. This is a mirror I've been working on:

Lawlz this is a crappy picture so it doesn't show the massive array of blingy-ness that I wanted it to xD

I'm kinda excited about deco-ing stuff again too, since the last time I did that was on my camera:

That has since been all cleaned off since I want a new camera, LOL.
But after the mirror I want to deco a case for my ipod, and the new camera that I'll purchase as well!

Aaaannd lastly...I'm trying to learn to sew again...
....which I am nervous about.
...because I am really really terrible at it.

However my mom is excellent at it, so I will shamelessly beg ask her to teach me! (again. T_T)
I wanted to create some stylish and girly shorts to wear this summer with these materials:

I was inspired to go along the same lines as these gyaru shorts that I saw on yumetenbo a while back:
ボトム,ショーパン,短パン,レース,リボン,チェーン,ウォレット,ベージュ,ラベンダー,ピンク,ブルー,ネイビー

Of course I don't think they'll turn out this cute, but I can certainly try right?? :D
I'm hoping all of this turns out the way I'm hoping it does...I really like to be original and create things that may inspire other people! ^_^

Do you have any creative hobbies you like to do in your spare time? ♥
